River Bed

This was taken on a Sunday picnic, a couple of weeks ago, at the Berg River dam being built in Franschoek.

Good composition...cropping in so close makes you wonder what's just beyond those hills!

Nice pov and the reed in the forground gives depth to this image. Also the lines of the hills are making this image special.

The colors are absolutely great.... but my favourite is the off-white rocks, like the pure sounds of a wind chime. The front rock is the actual sound, and it "echos all the way to the down" the rivier - would love to hop from one rock to the other an see where it takes me.

Thanks for the "moment" you have created here... I enjoyed being there for a moment... and will be there for the rest of the day!

I love this one. The colours are so unusual for this type of shot. You must have spent a long time thinking about what was to be the focal point as there are so many possibilities.

If I Were You I Would Try To Take A Full shot Of The Stream Without Thoughts. lol

@pLusOne: Thanks, Yes I have some of the full stream pouring over the bridge. Used a too slow shutter speed and most of them are blurred (we live and learn)
