Gulls & Mountains

This was a truly serendipitous shot. Went to the beach with the family and took a whole bunch of close up, action shots of birds flying, to try out my 70-300mm lens. It was only when I got home did I see the backdrop of Table Mountain and Lions head, across Table Bay.
Some more birdy shots to follow this week.

This certainly was a lucky one, Graham. Such delicate light and tones, with the gull perfectlly placed. Great as it is, then, but I think I'd prefer to see it without the tiny bit of land at the bottom.

@Andrew Gould: Thank you Andrew, yes on reflection, I agree with you the top of the sand dune is distracting and should be cropped our cloned out.
