A kitesurfer or kiteboarder uses a board with foot-straps or bindings, combined with the power of a large controllable kite to propel himself and the board across the water

This is a really exciting shot, full of energy and action. I should imagine these guys get up to a tremendous speed, and they must be very fit and strong.

@Jaynee: Thanks Jaynee, yes pretty awesome sport, and the guys (and girls) are pretty fit. I was amazed at the age group, ranging from late teens to early 60's.

You're keeping the same high standard in this second photo in the series, Graham. Excellent how you've totally frozen the action and caught that look of concentration on your subject's face as he ploughs through the water, which is also beautifully shown. The tight framing, placement of the kiteboarder within the scene and the well judged exposure/preocessing are also worthy of mention.
