Took my overseas visitor on a coastal tour of Cape Town. One of the places we stopped at was Boulders Beach. This is a penguin Colony for the African penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat. These guys are so tame, it almost feels like they are posing for the camera.
I really appreciate your visit and your comments. If I don't respond, please know that thanks are intended and time has just gotten away from me.

@pLusOne: Thank you.
nice detail!! It must be awesome to see them in their habitat. I've seen this species of penguins in the New England Aquarium, but I bet is not the same as in their habitat!

@Elisa: Thanks Elisa, yes it is great to see them natural. Except for an Easter weekend sunday, where you have to jostle with tourists to get a shot :)
I love this one. As you say, he could atually be posing! The detail and texture is wonderful.

@dobbino: Thanks for your comments and for visiting. Not much convincing is needed, when you have a weekend like this one. My London visitor, is angling a way to be relocated :)
Fantastic capture! Love the detail and the water droplets. Great job! Hopefully one day I'll be able to visit your beautiful city...in the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy traveling with your eyes/lens.
