Stop the World

As winter arrives, sunset gets earlier and earlier. The last couple of days, I've seen some magnificent sunsets in my rear view mirror as I jostle and fight with the rush hour traffic to get home. Tonight I stopped to smell the roses and took in a breathtaking sunset from Plattekloof hills. By the time I got home, I was so relaxed. This shot reminds me that sometimes we need to stop the world and get off, even its only for a few minutes.

This shot looks out towards Table Mountain, the harbor and the bay.

Aaaa....it's one of those pictures you wish you where there......oh wait, I was there :) . The shot came out better than I expected. It was very misty, but the shot contains more detail that I could see.

@DaveB: Thanks Dave. Just bad weather coming in. Air pollution in Cape Town is kept in check by the Cape Doctor (due to visit us this weekend). This is a pretty mean south easterly wind that blows everything out to sea.
