On the way home from Ceres, we passed through the town of Wellington, at the end of the the main road was this magnificent church. Couldn't get too many shots as I was standing in the middle of a busy road, with the locals yelling and hooting at me.
I really appreciate your visit and your comments. If I don't respond, please know that thanks are intended and time has just gotten away from me.

Beautiful, warm light on the steeple, Graham ... very beautiful. I find it interesting that there's a red light and a no u-turn sign right in front of the church ... as if to say – stop and think about it for there's no turning back! Great shot, Graham!

Despite the hooting you did a great job. Ten to six (5:50) and the evening sun is just catching the church.

This is a beautful architectural shot Graham, and you've captured the light so cleverly. An excellent shot.

Not good to anger the locals! Glad you made it outta there alive :0p I really like the orange "spotlight" on the steeple. I assume it is from the sun.

cool architecture and you did very well, dispite of the yelling and hooting.

I like the light on the top of the church. I suppose that this Wellington is in South Africa and not New Zeland?

I like the lighting and the stoplight. Good job on standing your ground and getting the shot.

It's a nice view Graham, but it seems ever so slightly blurred, or maybe a bit out of focus, although if you were standing in the middle of a street, I can't really fault you!

@DaveB: Thanks Dave, yes it was a bit blurry. I also forgot to sharpen for web, as the A3 compression loses something.
