The last shot in this series, this take a bit later and from a different angle. I found out that one of the guns was restored and they actually fire it a couple of times a year.

@Observing: Thanks for your comments. Originally they were to defend against the British, then when the British took over the Cape against the French.

@Sammi: Thanks for your visit and your comments. Our part of the world, had an important place in history, by opening up trade routes to the East. There is tons of history around, we just have to look :)

Now this one I like the most off the collection. Interesting blue on the front canon. ...I would have maybe tried and get the full picture of the front canon, otherwise great shot.
