Radio Mast

This was taken a few weeks ago, from the car park of our offices. This is a huge radio mast on top of Plattekloof Hills. On this particular day the hills were engulfed in thick cloud,there was a brief parting of the clouds, and this surreal shot presented itself.

What a wonderful shot. It's quite eerie - but the clouds are beautiful and you have captured that cotton wool look. Superb.

The clouds seems to be very low but certainly the radio mast are on the top of a hill or mountain. May be a little less blue on the top?

quite an interesting cloud formation engulfing the radio mast... love the detail in the clouds and leaving just the tip of the mast gives this shot a feeling of mystery...

Really beautiful forms, punctuated by the antennas, Graham. Those bottom clouds have a wonderful fullness to them, and almost look like waves. Fascinating!
