Visit - Curio Shop on top of the world

The first time up Table Mountain,people are surprised that's it not actually flat, but pretty rocky and hilly. This is the Curio shop, near the restaurant, at the top of table mountain.
Contrary to the shot of the cable car and the blue skies, a cold front was moving in, and a thick mist was starting to encroach. You can see on the left of this photo the mist blowing in.

Technically the perspective of the building is wrong, and I don't know how to fix it without losing the essence of the shot, any suggestions would be great.

Well I like the photo haven't got a clue how to fix I wouldn't have noticed anything wrong if you hadn't pointed it out

Interesting to know about the top of the mountain, did you get any wider view shots...? I believe you can fix the perspective in PS, at the cost of something else.

Difficult shot. I really like how you have captured the mist coming in. It happens very suddenly and without much warning, and is very dangerous for folk who are hiking on the mountain and don't stick to the trails. Have emailed you an attempt at a fix, but I can't decide whether it's better or worse.

Yep! I too thought that it was flat, it's great to see what's really up there.

Surprising to see that building on the top of Table mountain. The perspective issue doesn't bother me much as I understand that it is due to the wide lens. There is a main horizontal line the wall and the leaning verticals are in symetric position to the middle. It is always possible to try a correction with the perspective tool but I don't know if the result would be better as you will loose parts of the surroundings.

It's a great shot, Graham, and I don't think you need to fix the perspective (even though I'm normally obsessed with this kind of thing.) Nice to see what's up on top of your beautiful mountain!

yes -- i agree w/ the rest, this is shot is just fine the way it is! to get a better angle you would most likely have to go ariel! ;) great shot mate!
