Storm - Sea PointPosted by Graham Russon (Cape Town, South Africa) on 3 September 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Over the weekend Cape Town was hit by a massive storm. Late Saturday night we were buffeted by gale force winds and tons of rain. There was even hail, lighting and thunder, which is very rare for Cape Town. Needless to say on Sunday, we headed off to the Sea Point to see the reported 10m waves. It was pretty awesome watching as they crashed into the breakwaters, but shooting in these conditions was pretty rough. When the wind wasn't throwing me around, the rain or waves were drenching me. So I was wet, cold, covered in smelly sea foam, hands frozen, and loving every minute of it. Thank you for visiting my site and for leaving a comment. All and any criticism is most welcome as it helps me grow in a hobby I love. I may not have time to thank you, but I will try and visit your site and leave a comment.
