Storm - Three Anchor Bay

Posted by Graham Russon (Cape Town, South Africa) on 4 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

We drove further along to Three Anchor Bay, and took photos of the bay . This spot was to become the most photographed spot on Sunday. News crews arrived later and filmed the action of the waves and the antics of the crowds, kids and photographers.

In this shot you can see a giant wave carrying sea foam and hurtling towards the sea walls (to the right of the shot). On impact the foam covers everything in its sight.

Dave, JC and Rob (Dobbino) will be pleased to know that I went to great lengths to make sure my horizon was dead straight in this one.
