Storm - Impact

The wave reaching the wall, with the sea foam being flung in all directions. Believe it or not there is a staircase with two young boys standing on it, if you look really carefully just above and between the two pillars, you can see their heads.

In tomorrows post I'll show the two drenched boys.

wow! just wonderful motion and energy here! very captivating indeed! an excellent representation of the pounding the shoreline must have received! i love waves and everything to do with them! where is this washing up on? some sort of parking lot? so cool! :D

@dj.tigersprout: Thanks DJ, what looks like a parking lot is actually the main road through this part of town. Later in the day and further down, the road was closed as cars and pedestrians were in danger of getting washed away.

Graham - great series of shots. It was definitely worth the trip out on the day. It's a pity we can't hear the noise made when the wave made impact!

Wonderful freeze action shot. It looks like whipped soft ice. Those two heads.. isn't that a bit risky ?

Graham, this is one amazing shot !!! I think you know how to play with the shutter and use it to your advantage... and I believe I can make out the boys' heads. This is cool !!!

This large quantity of foam makes me think about an other country in Africa where I used to work but the reason was the mud used during oil forage.

Incredilbe scene with this amount of sea foam. I have not seen it so dense. Interesting and remarkable capture.
