Drakensberg - Photography NirvanaPosted by Graham Russon (Cape Town, South Africa) on 15 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural. We deceided to have a family reunion and the chosen venue was the Alpine Heath Resort in the Northern Drakensberg. It was an incredible weekend, especially to be with family, some who I haven't seen in years. From a photography perspective, everywhere was a photo waiting to happen. This series will show off and incredible part of our country.
The Drakensberg (Afrikaans: "Dragon's Mountain") is the highest mountain range in Southern Africa, rising to 3,482 metres (11,420 ft) in height. I may not have time to thank you, but I will try and visit your site and leave a comment.
