Monkey Business

The monkey and the iguana were the best of friends, and quite a sight to see the two of them together. Not the greatest of shots, due to the misted lenses.

It really is a pity about the misty lens - this would have been one to keep and frame. But it's worth remembering for the next time one is in a humid environment - would never have thought it would be an issue.

A very unique capture Graham! I know there is a product that you can use on your lens to prevent this sort of misting in a humid environment; but the name of it escapes me now. I used it effectively a number of years ago when I was in the Amazon jungle. Check at your local higher end photography provider...... ;-)

Oh Graham...I really feel your pain, in the clouded lens thing......I can't tell you how many times i've missed shots here, in the summertime.....when i run out in the evening, to catch the sky or something, and because of the air conditioning running in the house, then running out into 90% humidity....by the time the lens "warms up", the sunset is gone!!! But regardless, the shot you got is still a keeper.....love the monkey "patting" the iguana's head!!!
