HDR

Posted by Graham Russon (Cape Town, South Africa) on 3 July 2009 in Transportation.

We went out to Saldanah up the West Coast, and all the shots came out dull and underexposed. Some of them had HDR potential, so I set of to figure out how to go about doing this.

This is my first attempt at HDR and I'm quite pleased with it. As the original was a throw away.

I always shoot in RAW, so that allowed me to create the three exposures. I then used Photomatix to process the image. The whole process took about a week, but that included a steep learning curve.
